Carol Glanville – Michigan State Senate-District 30
Raised in a union household, Rep. Carol Glanville is a lifelong resident of West Michigan who has built her career as an educator and fierce local advocate for West Michigan. Since flipping a Republican stronghold in 2022, she has secured more than $75 million in state investments for her district supporting schools, fire stations, community centers, and programs like Meals on Wheels. And she’s championed policies that improve the cost of living: eliminating the retirement tax, expanding the working families tax credit, and establishing universal Pre-K.
Chris Kleinjans – Michigan State Senate-District 31
Chris Kleinjans has dedicated his life to serving others through leadership, community engagement, and public service. His military service instilled in him the values of teamwork, trust, and putting people first, principles that have guided his career and commitment to strengthening communities.
As the first Democrat elected to represent Ottawa County’s 2nd District, Chris saw firsthand how government decisions impact families, schools, and local communities. He is running for State Senate to expand opportunity, protect essential services, and help build a stronger future for West Michigan.
