Serve With Integrity
Dear Ottawa County and Neighboring Communities,
Ottawa Integrity is driven by a desire to protect, promote, and uphold integrity for the people in our community. We seek a high standard of dignified political participation from our representatives and constituents. Integrity is the way for us to build trust and lead by example.
We are appreciative of the responses of so many of our local systems and community members to the challenges of the past several years. We know you are appreciative, too.
- We appreciate the efforts of our political, health, and school systems to best function within the constraints of emerging conditions.
- We appreciate the efforts of our political, health, and school systems to promote and provide healthy environments.
- We appreciate the efforts of our systems to listen and respond to diverse opinions, understandings, and perspectives.
The people of Ottawa County are resilient, capable, and value diversity. We are known for our spirit of generosity, collaboration, and respect. We are known for our service to one another.
The primary responsibility of local governments is to assess and meet the needs of the community; through the functional administration of municipal services and infrastructures. Respectful civic engagement is an opportunity to aid in that endeavor.
We wrote the Principles of Integrity as a standard of accountability and behavior, to which we all could aspire. Our political action committee will work to hold representatives to this standard and to elect leaders who have a demonstrated commitment to these Principles.
Principles of Integrity
- Commitment to democracy and democratic solutions
- Commitment to honesty, transparency, and insight
- Commitment to the dignity of individuals, families, and the natural beauty in our community
Join these efforts, and unify to make Ottawa County an example of integrity in democracy.
In service,
Ottawa Integrity PAC
